Looking for a quiet, inspiring space to write each week? Join us for a casual write-in at Hummingbird Estate in Central Point every Wednesday. Bring your journal or laptop, grab a glass of wine to support the winery, and settle in for focused writing time with a supportive community. It’s not a class or a critique—just space to show up and get words on the page.

Join us for Lit Lunch in the Adams Conference Room at the Medford library! Bring your own lunch (or snacks) and some of your work you would like feedback on. Free, and appropriate for writers (18+) of all levels, Lit Lunch is your opportunity to tap into the energy and inspiration that comes from being a part of a writing community. While Lit Lunch is not a time to plan to read more than a few paragraphs, it is your chance to bring your works-in-progress or even just your undeveloped inspiration and get feedback, answers, and ideas to help…

As a writer new to fiction, I was drawn to Rogue Writers Collective. I attended the release event for Volume I of The Rapids and found a small community of writers and artists with similar interests and passions. I’ve attended several workshops and happy hour events, and over time, have come to know some talented writers and artists. Besides feeling comfortable in this community of writers, one aspect I greatly admire is how welcoming everyone is to first-time participants. Writing for others and sharing our work can feel daunting, and those willing to share with others in Rogue Writers Collective can trust that they’ll be met with constructive feedback and kind hearts and considerate comments. If you’re new to writing, or a published author looking for like minded talent, Rogue Writers Collective is worth a look.
