When I was first learning my writing craft, I took every class and workshop I could find. They made my writing stronger by leaps and bounds. But the real magic happened outside the classroom — at parties buzzing with writers, at chapter meetings of writing clubs, at bookstore events where bestselling authors told stories and offered advice.
Talking with writers who were farther along in their journeys was a gift. They’d been where I was, and they helped me see the road ahead.
That’s what we want RWC’s Writers Salons to be for you. Six times a year, we’ll gather with a special guest — maybe an author you’ve dog-eared, an editor who knows the ins and outs, or an agent with an eagle’s eye for talent. They’ll open the door to their world and let you peek inside the writing life and the publishing landscape. And you? You’ll have the chance to ask questions, share a laugh, and come away with insights that just might change your own writing journey.
